This is my first attempt at casting a body using a two part mold. The pictures pretty much tell the story. Most of my information came from a Yahoo Group called Slot Car Casting.
I started with a Model Motoring Willis blem,

I dropped the body, chopped the top, and smoothed the lines of the car by removing the hood scoop and the rear bar and plate holder
Made a mold box of Legos.
Put the mold master on a clay pedestal in preparation for making the female part of the two part mold.
Lining everything up before pouring the female mold. Note that there is clay on the underside of the Lego box to keep the RTV from coming out of the bottom.

Female mold prepared for pouring male mold. Note that the mold master is in the female mold and I have sprayed mold release to make the removal of the male mold easier to reduce possible tearing of the mold. I have also used an Exacto knife to cut the alignment keys into the mold.
