
Well guys, I have started thinking about the graphics for the cars I will be sending to The Dragon's Tail proxy race. So after some thought, I will be blending two themes, the cars I am sending (Karmann Ghia) and the race they will run in (The Dragon's Tail).
Once I come up with some options for graphics, I superimpose the graphics on a picture of the car to get a feel of how it might look. Below are two examples.
I then create the graphics in actual size to fit the car
I take straight on pictures of the car from the side and the top and then superimpose the graphics on the actual car to see how it will scale out.
When the graphics look like they will work I will then create the decals and apply them. If you would like more information about decals and applying them take a look here.
Below are pictures of the graphics superimposed on pictures of the painted car. I am a visual person and it helps give me an idea of how it's going to look. I take my time here so that I only have to print the decals once.
