For those that might be interested, The secret to the chop is the under side.
This is very very thin sheet of styrene. The sectioned roof pieces were glued to this.
Also notice the styrene post reinforcement. These pieces allow for more glue surface area which translates into a stronger more sturdy bond and therefore top. Anyway for those that might want to know.
